The CRTC will be hearing major broadcasters’ applications to renew their TV licences this December – some of the Forum’s concerns about this important proceeding are set out in an op-ed in the Hill Times on October 24, 2016. The Forum intervened with respect to the proceeding, the renewal of television licences held by large English- and French-language ownership groups, mentioned above on August 15, 2016.
